Overview
In this passage, God establishes the Passover celebration. It will be the final act that gets Pharaoh to let the people of Israel go and it will become a yearly memorial and celebration. It will also be a symbol for the sacrifice of Jesus that delivers us from sin. What God says in verse 13 is the key to understanding God's deliverance. It wasn't based on ethnicity, or religion. It was based the applied blood of the lamb. It is the same now. Our deliverance is based on the blood of Jesus applied to our hearts. That is what this breath prayer is about.

Lord Jesus Christ, apply your blood to my heart.
