Spiritual Practices: Lectio Divina
Lectio Divina, or Diving Reading, is a method of reading, reflecting on, and praying the Scripture that has been used by the church for centuries. It focuses on communing with God in Scripture rather than simply studying Scripture for intellectual understanding. Click here for more information on how to practice Lectio Divina. Here are some suggested verses in this passage that may lend themselves to conversation with God through the practice of Lectio Divina.
Suggested Verses
Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will open your graves and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will bring you into the land of Israel. And you shall know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves, and raise you from your graves, O my people. And I will put my Spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your own land. Then you shall know that I am the Lord; I have spoken, and I will do it, declares the Lord. (Ezekiel 37:12b-14)

Spiritual Practices: Breath Prayer
Overview
Ezekiel's vision in this passage is a metaphor for God bringing restoration and true life back to his people. Ezekiel is prophesying the restoration of Israel, but God is still in the business of healing, restoring, and bringing new life. Just as God restored Israel, God can restore and revive the dead places in your life. That is what this breath prayer is about.
Prayer
Abba Father, restore me to new life in you.
