Spiritual Practices: Breath Prayer
Overview
In this passage, God uses the metaphor of a wild vineyard to describe Israel. He describes how he took care of and established Israel, but when he came looking for a harvest of righteousness and justice (good grapes), he found none. Instead he found only bloodshed, outcry, injustice, and unrighteousness (wild grapes). We need to take what God has done for us and make our lives something that is pleasing to him. That is what this breath prayer is about.
Prayer
Abba Father, make me a fruitful vineyard
