Spiritual Practices: Visio Divina
Visio Divina, or sacred seeing, is a type of prayer in which we allow our hearts and imaginations to enter into an image or a scene in silence to see what God might have to say to us. You can find out more about Visio Divina here. Spend some time prayerfully reflecting on the images below and listen to what God might say to you through them.

Spiritual Practices: Creating a forgiveness journal
Overview
In Jesus' story, the unforgiving servant is first forgiven a huge debt by his master, but he does not extended same mercy and forgiveness to his fellow servant. The master calls him back, confronts him for his lack for forgiveness, and had him thrown in prison. The king's frustration was that the servant had been forgiven a huge debt, but was not willing to forgive a small debt for someone else.
Jesus applies the same principal to us. We have been been forgiven a massive debt by God, and, in light of this, he expects us to forgive others as well. Sometimes the key to forgiveness is remembering how much he has forgiven us. In this practice, we remind ourselves of the forgiveness we have received.
Practice
Get a piece of paper or a journal and something to write with. Think back over your life, and make a list of all of the things that God has forgiven you for. Spend some time and ask God to bring things to your mind. When you have completed the list, read through it again and offer a prayer of thanksgiving for all that God has forgiven you for.

Forgiving and merciful God, teach me to forgive.
