Overview
In the book of Proverbs wisdom is frequently personified as a woman. Here in chapter 1 we see wisdom inviting people to reject being simple and foolish and instead to come and learn from her. This invitation opens the book of Proverbs, a book about wisdom and wise living, and invites us to embrace Godly wisdom in all that we do. This short breath prayer is a response to the invitation to wisdom.
