Spiritual Practices: Breath Prayer
Overview
As the psalmist wraps up this passage, he ends with an exhortation to give thanks because God is good. We have all experienced God's goodness towards us. We may sometimes forget about it, but if we stop and think, we will remember the ways that God has been good to us. If we raise our eyes from the circumstances around us, we can see the goodness of God in our lives today. Taking the time to be thankful changes our perspective on everything else. That is what this breath prayer is about.
Prayer
Abba Father, thank you for your goodness towards me.
