Spiritual Practices: Visio Divina
Visio Divina, or sacred seeing, is a type of prayer in which we allow our hearts and imaginations to enter into an image or a scene in silence to see what God might have to say to us. You can find out more about Visio Divina here. Spend some time prayerfully reflecting on the images below and listen to what God might say to you through them.

Spiritual Practices: Singing to the Lord
Overview
In the first several verses of this psalm, the author talks about singing praise to the Lord. For many people, this is one of their favorite ways to connect with God and to praise and worship him. For many people, it helps pull their attention away from their circumstances and on to their God. Just like the the psalmist, we can connect with God, change our perspective, and praise and worship him through music.
Practice
Find some of your favorite Christian music and a place where you can either be alone or gather with a group who likes to connect with God through singing. Read the first four verses of this psalm, throw on the music, and enjoy spending time with God in song.
