Spiritual Practice: Breath Prayer
Overview
In Psalm 22:27, David says that all the families of the nations will worship God, Again in verse 29 he says that the prosperous will worship and that posterity shall serve him. The idea here, and in other places in Scripture, is that ultimately, everyone will worship God (Romans 10:11, Philippians 2:10-11). If we will ultimately worship God, how much better to worship him now, in the present moments, rather than waiting for the future? This breath prayer focuses us on worshiping God here and now.
Prayer
Almighty God, today I worship you
