Passage Introduction
We often think of Paul is a hero of the faith, the epitome of what it means to follow Jesus. While this is somewhat true, Paul was also a real person with real struggles. He is someone we can identify with and we can see our own struggles reflected in his. In this passage, Paul is very real and very personal. He exposes some of his struggles in following Jesus and doing what he know is right. As you read through this passage, reflect on how your own experience may reflect his and what you can learn from his example and his struggles.
