When we think of the Nativity and of Christmas day, we naturally tend to look back to the first coming of Jesus. This is good and appropriate, but it is also appropriate to look forward to his second coming as well. That is what Paul is talking about in this passage as he writes to Titus, one of his fellow workers and sons in the faith. He is reminding Titus that not only has Jesus come, he is coming again. Consider what Paul says to Timothy and how it might apply to you as you reflect on the passage diagram to the right.
